A fun family forest session for all the family
Join us on one Saturday every month… sessions begin at 12.30pm until 2.00pm

After lots of comments like; “my husband would love this, but he works in the week” or “I’m returning to work so won’t be able to attend any more” we put our heads together and decided to bring you family foresters.
Family Foresters is for families of all ages to enjoy exploring, adventures and precious outdoor family time in the woods.
Craving more family time?
In line with the forest school principles the sessions will allow children to explore the woodland environment, teaching them to respect the natural environment and explore a number of skills within the Forest School Ethos including: den making, shelter building, knots & lashings, tree climbing, mud/clay modelling, mini beast habitats, flora/fauna identification, obstacle courses and natural fire lighting to name just a few.
So if you crave more family time and share our love for the outdoors this could be the perfect session for you.
What to expect
During the forest school sessions families will explore the woodland through both free play and leader led activities, sessions include…
- Adult led games
- Free Play
- All resources included
- A variety of ‘forest school’ activities including tools, fire and campfire cooking
- Campfire cooked hot dog for everyone
- Trained Forest School leaders
- Tea & Coffee for adults
- Cold drinks for all
£7.50 per person (adults & Children) pre paid
